bob_baer Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Hi does anybnody know how to see the glidescope in the ADI and in the HUD? I've activated ILS and selected it into the NMSP but not needls or hud indications... thanks
fenderplayer946 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Hello, Under the HSI there is 2 rows of switches where you can select the current navigation mode, HARS/EGI etc and the lower row where you select the sub mode, steerpoint, anchor point, TACAN or ILS. Inline with the top row is a switch which needs to be set to able to allow the bars to become visible. You will also need to select the relevant submode, in this case ILS. Ensure that the steerpoint mode is deselected. See the Warthog manual p116. Cheers
NeilWillis Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 Also be aware that you will only see the glideslope needle when you are close to the glideslope. On the left hand side of the ADI there is a vertical column of dots, with a caret. Fly towards the caret, and the glideslope needle will appear when the caret reaches close to the centre of the column of dots.
squid509 Posted October 31, 2016 Posted October 31, 2016 here is a good video I found ${1} also check out this YouTube channel https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC90p6sHsL5PN_urMRz65NyA/featured
AMEDooley Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 And don't forget to flip the needle switch. If not then they'll be Stowe's and they won't show up. As for seeing it on the HUD, I'm not sure you can. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
