When flying at sunset at altitude with solid cloud cover below and the sun is below the horizon and there is a very nice deep orange-red sky glow - when looking into the orange-red sky, the view dims down so the view is totally obscurred. Like a camera iris closing down in brighter light.

This happens inside the cockpit view and also in the F2 view.

It is simulating sun blinding, but a bit too much at times.

It is realistic when you look straight into the sun, but when the sun is behind a cloud or the horizon, the blinding shouldn't occur.

Currently, you get blinded by the sun even after sunset.
