Davee Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 When flying at sunset at altitude with solid cloud cover below and the sun is below the horizon and there is a very nice deep orange-red sky glow - when looking into the orange-red sky, the view dims down so the view is totally obscurred. Like a camera iris closing down in brighter light. This happens inside the cockpit view and also in the F2 view. HDR: on Depth of Field: off Lens Effects: none
Tucano_uy Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Isn't that what HDR does, simulating sun blinding?
Joe Kurr Posted November 16, 2016 Posted November 16, 2016 It is simulating sun blinding, but a bit too much at times. It is realistic when you look straight into the sun, but when the sun is behind a cloud or the horizon, the blinding shouldn't occur. Currently, you get blinded by the sun even after sunset.
