USB Monitor for MFDS/HSI/ADI ?

Hello everybody,

 

is here somebody using an USB Monitor as a secondary Monitor to display instruments?

 

I was thinking about something like the

Asus MB169C+

the idea was to use it with the Thrustmaster MFDS and also have space between these to display the ADI and HSI of the A10C.

 

 

Question:

Are USB Monitors working with DCS?

Are 10ms responsetime a Problem?

Has anybody here a setup similar?

Any other small Monitor u recommand?

i have one TFT screen with HDMI output and i use one of USB2.0 display adapter

and use it for Mirage2000

Works fine for RWR ....and some other instruments

Mimo's monitor are working great. Not only for instruments but also for panel displays. I had two of them (8 inches touch screens) for Blackshark. One for the ABRIS, one for the Shkval without any issue.

If not using Rift, Lilliput's 8" USB monitors work nicely as well. Here's what they look like (I covered parts that I don't need)

Thx for all the answers, so it seems that usb monitor are no problem anymore with games.

 

What resolution should i use for each MFD? 1024x would be perfect but how low can i go without having an ugly view?

For MFDs, 800X600 (maybe even 480) works just fine. I don't know that you need to drive it at 1024.

exporting the viewports seems easy, but is there a possibility to export the ADI and HSI ?

I want to put those between the MFDS.

You can use Helios for that.

Take the CapLoz A10C profile and delete everything you dont need from it.

thx Capt Zeen, after half a day i got it to work :)

perfectly working for the A 10C.

 

Now i am trying your other profiles for the huey.

but stucking on this.

it takes time to get to know these software.
