anlq Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 First of all I would like to thank Belsimtek to their contribute to the DCS community, your work is great. I finally owned all 5 modules from Belsimtek. To the question. Is there anyway to setup 2 stages trigger with Warthog Hotas ? I tried but only the Detent stage (1st stage) works, I cant get the cannon to fire with 2nd stage.
razo+r Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 assign the first stage to the settings, press ok and hold the first stage then search for the second stage, press "add" and then press down to second stage, hold it and press ok Otherwise bind your first stage of the trigger to the second stage in the game settings
Robert31178 Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 Nice intel!! I would have gone insane trying to figure it out on my own when I get my X-55. Thanks Raz+r!! ~S

I tried to map with Target, but this is more simple.
Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 I couldnt get it to work using the X52 pro software so I had to assing the command using the own game control setup...worked no problem Take a look at my MODS here
NeilWillis Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 It's always a good idea to start with the in-game controls, and only ever fall back on external software if you cannot achieve what you want within DCS World. Why use 2 pieces of software when 1 will do the job very nicely?

Why use 2 pieces of software when 1 will do the job very nicely? Because profile software can be transfered, and be safer from any reinstalling, DCS crash ... And re-learning keymapping is easier. I got my profiles for each aircrafts/helos nearly the same, they have the same primary keys, like: Trigger for gun, Button A for weapon release, this for flap control, that for trim, radar cursor, lights ... etc. then the rest buttons have their own functions. I'm lazy, I don't want to remember much, you know. :megalol:

Another key thing (at least for Saitek/madcatz products is that the software programing allow us to use for example the pinkie switch to do a complete remaping of the controls wchi I cant live with now...anyway, in this case, as the trigger is not used for any other comman but the guns, there is no problem in using the own DCS config to assing the key, but just this key in my case...
