SCHOOL Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I have added some skins before but never a sound mod. Looking to add the immersive Daimler Benz mod to my 109. Instructions are not labeled so I didn't want to do any "testing". Can someone show me where to place the files? I have seen numerous answers but was not successful. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/?arrFilter_pf%5Bfiletype%5D=36&arrFilter_pf%5Bgameversion%5D=144&arrFilter_pf%5Bfilelang%5D=&arrFilter_pf%5Baircraft%5D=&arrFilter_DATE_CREATE_1_DAYS_TO_BACK=&CREATED_BY=&sort_by_order=TIMESTAMP_X_DESC&set_filter=Filter THX
razo+r Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 just place and replace the sounds in the named folder with the existing also same named folder in your dcs install directory, for example if you have a folder named "Engines" in the mod, search in the dcs installation for the same folder and replace everything existing there, then you do the same with all other folders and files
Weegie Posted November 14, 2016 Posted November 14, 2016 I'd recommend installing JSGME or equivalent, then installing it that way. As I recall the mod is JSGME ready Instructions on installing JSGME here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=98607 It makes life a lot simpler as the mod may be overwritten by an update, with JSGME the mod can be disabled before an update then simply re-enabled Bit more of a faff to do initially but well worth the effort in the long run
