This might just be a placebo, but sling loading feels different in 2.0.5 compared to 1.5.6. I've never had a break in DCSW2 but breaks occur regularly in 1.5.6. I've also noticed that having a shorter length seems to increase the likelihood of a break, although that's probably a placebo as well.

Either way, the fuel leaking after a break needs a fix ASAP.

Fuel leaking after a break could be damage modelling.

If the strap breaks, the force of the strap snapping back can cause it to impact the belly of the aircraft, where the fuel tanks are, and theoretically cause damage.

It's not likely, but possible. Our real world procedures are to land and inspect for damage in the event of a break.
