Enjoying the new Spitfire IX,but I have one ask for the next patch........Devs,could we please have the ' Landing Gear Control Lever ' available with an Axis option,at present it is only available as a key bind or other control bind.

The historical Spit landing gear lever is on a Axis, and it would be great for immersion to be able to assign this lever to an Axis.

In Cliffs Of Dover iL2,you can assign an Axis to the Spitfire landing gear lever,so that you can assign a controller like the Saitek Throttle Quadrant to it,using one of the throttle levers to operate the landing gear,it makes the immersion so much more realistic IMO.

Of course if there is a work around to get an Axis assigned to the Landing Gear Lever,it would be very much appreciated,

In CloD you can assign Landing Gear command in axis, but this axis work as mere UP/DOWN (or UP/NEUTRAL/DOWN in Hurri) "switch", no much reason to assign this command in axis, unless has one axis without use.

For set Mk.IX LG operation in same way (if your wish is not filled) use a keymappper for make your Saitek QT axis press the needed keys in up and down positions. To avoid headache ignore Saitek soft and use Joy2Key, is "bullet proof". :)

Thanks for your advice Sokol .....this is very much appreciated buddy,I think I will go down the ' Joy To key ' route to alter my Saitek operation.

Is the same case as above, see DCSW Spit IXe axes options:

Are option for "landing gear" (EDIT - is "Undercarriage")? No.

So the way is use your joy soft (or Joy2Key, bulletproof) to make this lever axis press keys, solved. ;)

But don't use "Undercarriage toggle" use "Undercarriage down" and Undercarriage Up" commands:

In this way you throttle slider always match the gear position: lever up = gear up, lever down = gear down (toggle option allow became inverted).
