McMicha Posted January 7, 2019 Posted January 7, 2019 Hi McMicha, I noticed today the fuselage tank indicator for the P-51D is not working, did you fix that in the new version/export also along with the few other things in the german ww2 birds? METEOP Posted January 9, 2019 Posted January 9, 2019 Hello McMisha and H-J-P, guys I am very grateful for your work as I get to have an incredible glass cockpit setup for my A10C! I still have crashes although I am not sure if it comes from Ikarus itself since the last update it seems to have helped alot. When activating switches, sometimes it causes DCS to lock up (no interface and last frame is shown). If I look at the task manager and look at the wait thread it appears to be DCS that is hung on itself over the network usage, if it makes any sense. The reason I am still suspecting some influence from Ikarus, is that It occured at leat twice doing the same sequence while starting up the hog, using the cmsp panel. At this point the GPU and CPU at not that much stressed. Other ocurences of such lock ups are mostly during very busy situations, with multiple attacking and defending units over cities and such. Sometimes even, Ikarus freezes momentarily while activating stuff, I go like, wtf, then I notice my main screen is locked up. About 50% of the time it will suddenly carry on after a few seconds, other times it's game over. As I am running _lots_ of softwares and overclock moderately, I am still thinking about dialing back my overclocks, if that is the problem. However, I troubleshoot all sorts of stuff so I have and am willing to spend the time into providing any information that may be useful to stabilize my system. Thank you so much again for the great piece of code. You can see it in the top left section of my profile that I have created, I assume it’s the fuselage tank, it’s not registering for any tanks, also the 109 MW pressure is not working (190 works) and oxygen pressure gages in both the 109 and the 190 are not working either Thank you very much guys! H-J-P Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 We can optimize everything. That too. I thought you already tested that with McMicha. Yes, nothing changes for the buttons. H-J-P Posted January 10, 2019 Posted January 10, 2019 (edited) Ikarus itself is now finished. The other new versions will contain new ads. As e.g. for the F-16. Oh-Zee Posted January 13, 2019 Posted January 13, 2019 Multi PC Ikarus set up I have just built a new PC and want to build a sim pit. To determine how I will set up the sim pit I need to get some questions answered that I can't find the answers to. I hope this is the place to post this. This is what I'm thinking for the the monitor set up. I would like to use a 45" 4K TV or some kind of projector set up with a glass instrument panel using Ikarus. What I would like to use for the Instrument panel is a 23" HP TouchSmart PC w/ touchscreen. So my first question is, can I export MFCD's, RWR and the like to another PC running Ikarus or is it limited to just another monitor? As far as software my question is I only need Ikarus and an export program like DCS BIOS, plus openning specific ports for it to communicate ? Thanks for the help !

You can export Ikarus to another computer running the cockpit but so far I have not come accross an efficient way to get the DCS exports to said computer. McMicha Posted January 14, 2019 Posted January 14, 2019 Hello, Oh-Zee, first of all thank you for your interest in our software. Ikarus shows only the data sent by the export script, but you need a certain export script. Namely our DCS ExportScript, which you can download here. How to set it up and what it can do can be found in the Wiki. Other export scripts, like DCS BIOS or the export script of Capt Zeen, or the HELIOS Project don't work. In most cases you can run these export scripts in parallel. Now to your questions. The DCS ExportScript can read all data from DCS which is available as text or numeric value and send it via UDP network to your own computer (localhost) or to a remote computer. What definitely doesn't work at the moment is the export and transfer via network of screen views like the MFCD, RWR, Radar or other screens. These screen contents can only be displayed via viewport on the same computer running DCS World. Ikarus can send data from displayed switches via network back to the ExportScript and thus to DCS World. CU Micha Simpit Software by SDA "SIMPIT DEVELOPER ASSOCIATION" DCS ExportScript D.A.C.
