I have upgraded to the last software but I have the following problem.

 

When I start Ikarus and the flight the instruments show up fine, I can see the digital readouts for frequencies. During the flight as I am still learning different systems for the A10 or Vaicom I pause the sim and use alt-Tab to switch to a manual or control panel. I can say if it happens after the first time or after multiple times the frequency numbers are gone, the indicators on the navigation mode select panel are gone. Yesterday during a flight I had some problems and I looked at the armament and HUD control panel and the switches did not reflect their state in the sim.

 

I am not saying that this is a bug maybe it is the way it is. Just curious.

It happens to me sometimes that icarus stops relaying the gauges info, a couple times in the huey the other day and some other times too, just alt tab restart ikarus and comes back on

But I already have an idea how I could solve it. However, I have to test this first. Would be a refresh of all data every 5 seconds in order?

Maybe it is something else, I upgraded to 1.4.5.410 yesterday. I was just starting up an A10 and noticed that all indication are not shown and the switches are not set as in the plane. I want to relead the previous version and test to see if it makes a difference. I also upgraded DCS scripts to 1.20 but did that earlier in the week.

 

I just looked at Github but I can't see the older versions but just found 1.4.5.4d in my recycle bin.

 

I have not tested during a flight but it seems to work better on the older version that 1.4.5.410

H-J-P, tanks gauges work fine (there is a bug with the refueling right now it's stuck at 68%) but I have no signal from the block 30 version only the 25 is able to export, can you replicated this? Thanks

Since DCS World version 2.5.4 there are two P-51D Mustangs. one the P-51D-25NA and then the P-51D-30NA.

 

For version 30 we have to create a profile, an XML file and an ExportScript.

This will come with the next update.

 

If necessary, you can simply copy and rename the files beforehand.

The correct name can be found in Export.log after the aircraft has been started.

I don’t know if it has to be every 5 seconds, you understand it better.

It's always a question of performance. If the change does not cause any problems then I will do it this way.

I am sorry I see no difference. I had all indicators on the Ikarus cockpit for a few minutes when I paused the sim, used Alt-Tab to get TrackIR screen to the forefront. Minimized TrackIR so DCS is in the forefront. The Ikarus cockpit is not shown anymore soI alt-Tab to Ikarus. Click close cockpit and show cockpit and the radio frequencies are gone. so are the green triangles on the nav select panel. I also noticed when I clicked the button for the CDU that the CDI and EGI switches were shown in the OFF state. So they did not reflect the situation in the cockpit. I kept flying and after a few minutes the arms for the airspeed dial where at 0, while in the cockpit they showed the correct speed.

I use the a-10c profile for some time.

The only time I get what you say is when I end a mission go to DCS main screen witj ikarus A-10c profil on then start a new mission.

then Ikarus A-10c profil does not seems to know that I stareted a new mission.

 

I have to make sure that before staring a new mission I have to go to Ikarus main intercae, close cockpit

then alt-tab to DCS and then start a new mission.

I fully understand what you are saying, it is something specific with my system. I will make a recording to show it. maybe that gives the team an idea. Is there something I could have done wrong with DCS -scripts that could cause this?

Is it possible to modify one of the gauges or are they embedded in the program?

 

Just that the EGT for the Huey has a slightly higher limit now than the one shown by Ikarus.

I think the effort would be too high to correct that, because there is no reference curve for this instrument. But it will be possible with the next ikarus version. If you feel like it, try it yourself and give us the input and output values.

Hi,

there are problems with some Mi-8 gauges:

1. radar altimeter does not show altitude and set flag correctly, it is just moving between 0 and 10
   
2. air speed gauge is off to, numbering on real instrument is different now
   
3. green section on RPM rotor gauge should be between 92-98 (generators goes off at 88)
