I use the ff2 with the mi8 and have no problems. Sure you need to fiddle with the inversion of axi but that's it, works fine once setup.

Are you sure? Works wonderfully here, as it always did. MS SW FFB2.

Check the following:

- In Options, Misc tab, tick the "Force Feedback" option;

- In Options, Special tab, Mi-8MTV2 section, in Trimmer drop-down list select Default option;

- In Options, Controls tab, "Mi-8MTV2 Sim" section, select "Axis Comands" in the second drop-down list, click at either JOY_X or JOY_Y, and then click at "FF Tune"; "Force Feedback Tune Panel" will appear, set "Trimmer Force [0...100]" (this is centering force) and "Shake [0...100]" to your liking and tick "Swap Axis" option (other options should be unticked); Click at OK;

- Now click at "Axis Tune"; "Axis Tune Panel" will open. Set Curvature to 0. All options should be unticked. Perform this step for both axes, JOY_X and JOY_Y.

Now, helicopter trim will work like it should.

Explanation for the last step - Trim doesn't work properly if there is non-linear response, ie. curvature in response line. For instance, with curvature set to 30, you must deflect stick for approximately 40 % in order to assign a new neutral position at approximately 10 % defleection. Which defies the essence of helicopter trim. With Curvature set at 0, everything works fine. Except controls are very sensitive, but that is something I got used to. I hope there would b a solution for this problem.

Worked a treat.

I was just about to give up on this module and all it was, was curves.

Funny thing is I don't usually have curves set with the helicopter modules.

Cheers!

I may be wrong, but I think trim used to work properly with curves a year ago or less.

I would definitely like to have a properly working trim with curves set.
