So I had this all working on our current Alligator ship project. Somewhere down the line the wake stopped showing along with the waves that ripple outwards. Additionally I have a custom SA-N-7 Grail launching from it that used to fire and it no longer fires but tracks the enemy and looks mildly threatening.

 

The only thing I can think of was the addition of a collision shell, but if that even did help, it wouldnt fix the problem. I put the weapon outside the collision shell too, no joy.

 

Anyone ever seen this?

The collision shell shouldn't be the problem

GT.X_nose = ??????

is the front wake

GT.X_tail = -???????

tail wake

GT.Tail_Width = 30

is the width..

 

The weapons do not go on the collision shell

all as it should be. And yet somewhere mod dev it just stopped working. It's really crazy. I can see the point wehere it happened was around when the texturing began in earnest as there's some screenies with it, I'd tidied it up but stopped changing it as the export was continuoually moving the centre point of the model so I said i'd wait until the model was done to tweak it again and it's DONE and i can't do the simplest of things.
