wired521 Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I don't have a 3-position switch on my flight stick, and haven't been able to figure out a way to do manual nav updates by flying over nav-type waypoints. I've tried several combinations of the 3 positions (individually mapped to different buttons) but haven't had any luck. What is the correct sequence for T0, T1,and TV for doing an update by overflying a visual reference?
grunf Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 I also don't have 3-pos switch, I've mapped them to separate buttons. To make the manual fix, turn the radar off, press T1 before overflying the position (waypoint indicator changes from B to E). When above the position press Tv. disclaimer: I have only done this once :D
Whuping Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 Even with Radar on you can put a Rough Estimation of your immediate location. 1. Confirm easily recognizable location from distance. 2. Prep by pressing T1 which will turn your Waypoint into the letter E instead of a B. 3. Fly over landmark 4. Press TV FIX. 5. Press T1 to confirm/remove cross from radar. wired521 Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 I'll it another try - last time I did that the current waypoint switched from B(x) to E(x) when I pressed T1, then to b(x) when i pressed TV, then back to blinkin E(x) when I released TV. Isn't the current waypoint supposed to advance to the next after the fix? Also, by radar off is that A0 and master mode back in Nav? Thanks!

wired521 Posted January 30, 2017 Author Posted January 30, 2017 Thanks Grunf - this took care of it. I think the issue was my RADAR was on previously. Just tried what you suggested and it worked. Thanks again!
