Precog Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Would love to see DCS with volumetric clouds and a more realistic simulation of weather effects (rain, turbulence etc). In particular clouds that don't rotate with head movement. Check out the latest volumetric clouds from the unigine 2.4 engine: Check out my 'real world' video series [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Wyatt109 Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 Would love to see DCS with volumetric clouds and a more realistic simulation of weather effects (rain, turbulence etc). In particular clouds that don't rotate with head movement. Check out the latest volumetric clouds from the unigine 2.4 engine: I can't even begin to imagine DCS with this kind of cloud realism and have it be simulated properly. It would add so much life to the sim. After having flown DCS for so long with the same sort of clouds, this...this is just unimaginable. Would rock my world.
OttoPus Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 (edited) Let's wait and see, new weather system is in the pipeline for 2.5 (btw, there's a more recent video available of the unigine cloud system) Edited February 7, 2017 by OttoPus
Ala12Rv-watermanpc Posted February 7, 2017 Posted February 7, 2017 +1000000000000000000000000000 I have also posted many times about this...its a MUST feature for DCS. They are supposed to be working on new clouds (though they have never said a word or any info about them) so hope they look anything close to the unigine ones... Take a look at my MODS here
