I've been away for a considerable time. I've recently built a new system and spared no expense. Of course I'm running windowed 10,..,,

And with all of these new toys I certainly went with the Thrustmaster Warthog.

I've been having a lot of trouble sorting things out. The one example is learning all of the many buttons and switches. So a few days ago I was in the cockpit and decided to switch the ALTHG on. That was my big mistake.. The screen went black and the pc crashed. So as it happens I can't get the computer to boot.

I've been trying everything that I can think of , replacing the memory, removing the battery but to no availed This hasn't solved the problem The motherboard is an ASUS Maximus V111 Extreme/Assembly....

Does anyone have any idea how to fix this !!!!!

Are you getting a beep code from the motherboard? Does your MB have a digital error readout?

Your configuration is not Warthog incompatible for sure. Seems that you are just unlucky and one of your components is simply malfunctioning. I don't think anybody here can solve your issue, but I would recommend to find an specialized workshop around you and let those guys to have a hands-on with your PC. Your components have to be tested one by one...

I assume you are talking here about Maximus VIII and not MaximusV111 . This Motherboard is one of best so we cannot talk about incompatibility .

PS: indeed, as Gladman mentioned, there is a Q-Code led indicator on your motherboard. Read the code displayed there and consult the manual for its meaning. If you have nothing there, start with your power supply.
