Rotaries on x55 & DCS..

Hi, anyone have any clue as to how to enable the two rotaries on the base of the x55 throttle? The ones on the throttle itself work fine, and I use them for zoom etc, no luck with the ones on the base, how do I set up the programing so dcs sees them and I can assign in game for maybe flood lighting or something..

You don't need to do anything special. RTY3 and RTY4 can be applied normally under the axis section like the others.

 

The only thing I have seen is DCS isn't that great at picking them up in the binding screen. I end up having to rotate the knobs from one extreme to the other a couple of times before they'll register.

 

Aside from that no problems at all. Come in very handy for use as RPM levers :)

Ya, they'll have to be bound to commands specifically under the Axis menu like Buzzles said. Or else, you'll have to assign keys to both directions in the X55 software.
