Pop up waypoint doesnt work

Hello. I did read the manual and also watched the video from Leathernek about ARAK Pop up, but i dont get the "U" waypoint displayed. I also cannot switch between "M" and "U" as is written in the manual, when i press the corresponding waypoint button.

 

My Procedure is as follows.(on the ground, or while flying, doesnt make a difference)

 

--> Data Panel Selector to TAKT.

--> IN/OUT Switch to IN.

--> Number 9 then B2. (To set waypoint 2 as a target point, but i read in the manual that this isnt even necessary, and it also seems like it because i will also get an "M" displayed, when i skip this point)

--> entering the direction and distance from where i want to "pop up" eg. 22007(first 3 digits direction, last 2 digits distance in km) and B2 again, to save it to M2.

--> IN/OUT Switch to OUT.

--> Data Panel Selector back to AKT POS

 

When i invert the last to steps, it doesnt make a difference.

 

I would love to get some help.

There's a bug with the range in current build limiting to tens of kilometers IIRC.. Try 10km distance.

I tryed with different distances(right now) and it didnt work.

After i pass B1, it always switches directly to M2 and not U2, as i would hope.

Also i cannot switch between M2/U2 when i press B2.

Hello Kearf

 

It is working, say if you want to add a popup point of 180/10km for waypoint B2 (thus now making B2 your target point M2), the data entry procedure is :-

 

1) Data Panel Selector to TAKT.

 

2) IN/OUT Switch to IN.

 

3) Type in 1801 (180 Deg/10km).

 

4) Press B2.

 

5) IN/OUT Switch to OUT.

 

6) Data Panel Selector back to AKT POS.

 

B2 will have changed to M2, pressing B2 again will cycle between U2 and M2.
