My computer specs are at the bottom of this post. I am considering updating my graphics card to a 1060. I play mainly DCS with some P3d and the superbug.

When I play DCS, I generally use Helios and 2 screens, each 1920x1080. In view of the age of my computer, I think the 1060 should be enough to get a reasonably good frame rate with medium eye candy settings without going to a 1070.

Any thoughts

I can't really say if it would be 'enough' but I have no doubt that you will see a dramatic improvement. Tripling your VRAM will make a huge difference.

It will be an enormous improvement, but I don't know what you will actually get when running 2 monitors. My system specs are similar but I went with the similarly priced RX480 instead. Running a single 1080p monitor I get 50 fps minimums with 100+ fps averages in 2.0. In 1.5 fps is all over the place. Some areas play at 100+ fps average, others at 20.

System specs: i5-10600k (4.9 GHz), RX 6950XT, 32GB DDR4 3200, NVMe SSD, Reverb G2, WinWing Super Libra/Taurus, CH Pro Pedals.
