Knock-Knock Posted February 21, 2017 Posted February 21, 2017 Another great interview from Omega Tau Podcast. http://omegataupodcast.net/224-flying-the-f-15-eagle/ When I was young, in the 80s, I was extremely interested in military airplanes, I more or less grew up with three iconic fighters: the F-15, F-16 and F-18. I want to thoroughly cover those airplanes on omega tau, and this episode on the F-15 is a great start. I talk with Jeff Fellmeth, a former F-15A/C/E pilot about the airplane, avionics, trainings, missions and the units he has been a part of. We also talk a little bit about related topics, such as the Bronco and gliders. 2 - Jack of many DCS modules, master of none. - Personal wishlist: F-15A, F-4S Phantom II, JAS 39A Gripen, SAAB 35 Draken, F-104 Starfighter, Panavia Tornado IDS. | Windows 11 | i5-12400 | 64Gb DDR4 | RTX 3080 | 2x M.2 | 27" 1440p | Rift CV1 | Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind pedals |
Yurgon Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 That was amazing (as always with Omega Tau), Jeff seems to be a great guy and really passionate about his time in the F-15. I learned a lot, and some of the anecdotes really made me laugh hard, like the Singapore take-offs. Thanks a lot for sharing!
