16th.Raptor Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 (edited) Hello fellow members, I am cleaning my closet, so up for sale is a pair of real & rare, used MFD bezels, the NVG green backlit version coming from a latest F-16 block. Also included in the sale is a Flight Systems Ltd. connector board and a Plasma MM2 usb controller to quickly hook them to a pc. I can provide a working profile template for the Plasma if buyer needs to. The original MFD flat wires where cut short, so no original pin connectors where available. Moreover in one MFD the wiring connection on the back was bend too much so I had to re-soldier it as best as I could. It works ok but cannot guarantee that forcibly bending it to install it to a sim construction will not damage it again. Buyer should accept that he may have to perform some new re-soldier attempt to fix any issues, but should not considered something difficult specially if one has the appropriate tools. Nevertheless, I am selling these cheaper than what I've purchased them some years ago. If no interest is found here soon then these will be also offered through eBay. Sale price is 750 euro. You can view pictures of the MFD bezels & boards downloading this 12.9mb .pdf file: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/7559899/%24y7Vea%40%403q/2.%20SELLING/MFDs_NVG/MFDs_NVG.pdf If you decide to purchase them, consider the below to have been read and accepted: - Payment is done through PayPal or direct bank transfer to my IBAN account. - Sales price is A. - Shipping price is B. - PayPal fee is C (3.9% of A+B). - Total price is A+B+C. - Buyer decides method of shipping with/without insurance and tracking, on behalf of what I can offer. - Regardless of shipping method chosen, when shipped it is out of here for good. Any loss in transit is a buyers issue. - As in wrapped & packed, you take the risks, but I will do my best effort to pack the item as best as I can. - I will provide pics to the buyer via PM of the packing & package, in order to know what to expect. - Local customs and/or tax regulations are a buyers issue. - All items are shipped from my location: Athens, Greece. Please feel free to PM me with any questions you might have. Due to my rl work overload it might take some time to reply back, please be patience and I will contact you as soon as I can. Some other items will be also offered here in additional threads. Thank you in advance, Panos Edited March 2, 2017 by 16th.Raptor
Deadman Posted March 2, 2017 Posted March 2, 2017 Hum Don't think those can be re soldered this sounds like a very expensive experiment perhaps you would have better luck selling these on VP:lol: https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
16th.Raptor Posted March 2, 2017 Author Posted March 2, 2017 Hum Don't think those can be re soldered this sounds like a very expensive experiment perhaps you would have better luck selling these on VP:lol: As I wrote, the pins were the flat cable is connected were soldiered again without any problems. It is not difficult at all nor requires any special tool than the standard soldering equipment the average user can find in an electronics store. I have picture-documented the process of cleaning and soldering if anyone is interested to see the small details in there, but anyway they both work great and tested, they were just removed from my F-16 pit construction since due to limited space the project took an alternative path. And yes, they are aleasy offered to VP members since a couple of weeks, this is an extra sale offer here if someone is interested before going up to eBay.

I Thanks buddy. Purchase price was 850 since these come directly from a block 50 model and are the NVG/NVIS rare version, so price is already down too much. I know they will go off to eBay just wanted to offer these to both site members first since they are working great and occasionally there is interest for this kind of gadget from the hardcore pit builders.
