  1. Just for the complete picture when referring to Greek birds, We (HAF) have 4 versions, at the moment: - Peace Xenia 1 program: F-16C/D Block 30 (F110-GE-100 engine, APG-68(v)5 radar) - Peace Xenia 2 program: F-16C/D Block 50 (F110-GE-129 engine, APG-68(v)7 radar) - Peace Xenia 3 program: F-16C/D Block 52+ (F100-PW-229 engine, APG-68(v)9 radar with MMC5000) - Peace Xenia 4 program: F-16C/D Block 52+ Advanced (F100-PW-229 engine, APG-68(v)9 radar with MMC7000) PX 2/3/4 birds will be upgraded to F-16V standards using AESA radar. The PX2 bird (and its manuals out there) are very close to the standard (not upgraded) USAF F-16 of close to 2000-era, so good base for DCS information. Only different system is the Greek ECM/RWR suite ASPIS.
  2. Exactly. Moreover, the "viewer" should start identifying and distinguishing real (active) missiles (yellow/brown marks on the body) versus captive/training weapons (blue marks) and everyday operations-missions. The real -120 missile should go back to weapons depot/maintenance every 6; (IIRC) flights, to check overall status and structure quality for any cracks due to the g-load and fluttering forces. The captive missiles don't have such tight limits so can be used much more times with no issues or detailed inspections.
  3. I can tell you about what happens if you load the A-2000 (IRIS-T) missiles to the wingtips..: flutter forces will brake missile's wings. So A-2000 is certified to load only on stations 2/8 and 3/7. Not 100% sure but I believe there is a similar limit for AIM-9X on the wigntips. There are a couple only public photos of these loads in the wingtips, these are old and before newer tests and documented limitations.
  4. F-16 Block 70 simulator, part-2. ;)
  5. And the F-16 Block 70 simulator, part-1. ;)
  6. Anxious to see what's coming with the Viper!
  7. In real it is not dark, no HUD is dark. They have a special thin coat of chemicals sprayed in order to better reflect green color. This was primary designed for displaying FLIR green image on a HUD, and that coat is what makes it pink from the internal part only. So if one needs to actually simulate that effect on a HUD he should make it a bit pink, not dark/black.
  8. In what country? :-) JFYI in local market (Greece) cheaper price is 307 euros:.. https://www.skroutz.gr/s/3680528/Thrustmaster-Hotas-Warthog-Flight-Stick.html In what country? :-) Right now, here in Greece for example the cheapest is 350: https://www.skroutz.gr/s/310286/Thrustmaster-Hotas-Warthog.html I was one of the first to receive mine package back then, through a special offer and a specific dealer so they cost me 330 euros. The following months and depended the local supplier company and availability, they were priced from 350 to 450 euros.. BTW I did sell my throttle too 200 euros 2 years ago, so sure it all depends if an interested person can find and afford this throttle cheaper than in his local market. But anyway, I am only the one that hosted the sale info here, not the owner to judge my price.
  9. A friend is selling his new throttle, he only needed the stick. He does not have an account here since he is not involved to DCS tittle, so asked me to publish this here. Throttle is new in its original packing. Price is 200 euros, plus the necessary shipping costs from Athens, Greece. PM me if interest and I'll give you directly his personal email data so to contact him and request item pictures or any other details to continue the purchase process. Panos
