ss_rage2005 Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 That’s cool It must have been quite a hard job to get it out from there ……. I love those old tanks. Thanks for the link  [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Fighter Pilots Make Movies, Bomber Pilots Make History.
3Sqn_Fudd Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 THe condition of that tank is amazing. Someone should do an environmental sample, it reminds me of the region (can't for the life of me remember which one) that in mideval times buried people in bogs. THe bog condidtion preserved the bodies for centuries. Ahah found it >>> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bog_body lol ok.... im done http://3sqn.com/forum/ Here's to 1.13 -- > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h0488djMDBU

lerxster Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 This Czech webby has a recovered Stug story... not in english tho...lots of photos :) Interesting to know why it was upside down when it was towed out? Did it flip during towing or is that why it was abandonded?
BBushe Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 I liked this story from the same website: http://englishrussia.com/?p=466 I particularly liked the reference to James Bond, I guess Russians aren't offended by him, and in the third photo there seems to be something just behind the sub, a water skier perhaps?
lerxster Posted November 17, 2006 Author Posted November 17, 2006 in the third photo there seems to be something just behind the sub, a water skier perhaps? Looks like a buoy.
BBushe Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 Looks like a buoy. oh, ffs, do you really think I believe it's a water skier? :)
