Lensman Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 Ordered my lenses today from vr-lens-eu as they seem to have better feed back on various forums. I have the vr-lens-eu ones, I'm very pleased with them. Just one point though. I was so excited to try them out, I removed them from their plastic bags, fiddled around trying to fit them because I wasn't sure which was right and left. THEN noticed the bags had R and L written on them:doh: I now have them marked for the rare occasion I need to remove them. Intel Core i7 6700K @ 4.5GHz. hansangb Posted January 17, 2018 Posted January 17, 2018 There are little notches on them so you can orient them properly Also, I moved on from the inserts to goggles. I can see better with the little goggles that you wear. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1

pimp Posted January 21, 2018 Posted January 21, 2018 I wear glasses with my rift and contacts at times. I don't have any problems to warrant buying accessories. I just cant wear the rift as tight to my face as I would with contacts on. When you wear glasses, just put your face through the rift first, then slide it down the back of your head. When you take it off, pull up from the back first. Always be careful to not touch the rift lenses obviously. I took one of my children's old frame (used when he was 8 or so) and put my lens in. And that fit the Rift OK. But my regular glasses absolutely will not fit. The other thing that I don't like about wearing glasses is that the headset presses down on the glass frame. After a while, it gets a little annoying. VR-lens, goggle took care of those problems. So depending on the physical dimensions of your glasses, it may or may not fit. You won't really know until you try it. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
crowebar Posted January 29, 2018 Posted January 29, 2018 My lenses arrived today from https://vr-lens-eu and they are great, very pleased. Also highly recommend this company for excellent customer service. Being a dope I submitted an order based on a 2015 prescription on 17th Jan. Realising my mistake on 22nd I emailed them to enquire if it was too late to put this right. They replied same day that the order was already sent to Zeiss, but that they would get the prescription changed no problem. Lenses arrived today, 12 days later despite the above. Excellent service, highly recommended.
