RAZBAM_ELMO Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 As per the title during engine start as soon as the rpm stabilizes I get loud popping noises and engine surges eventually flamming out the engine. Attempts at resolving this by changing cone pos., nozzle pos., anti surge doors have all gone vain. Wondering if anyone else is having this issue in current release build no mods. Know and use all the capabilities in your airplane. If you don't, sooner or later, some guy who does use them all will kick your ass. — Dave 'Preacher' Pace, USN.
Art-J Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 You forgot to turn first inverter on (cone adjustment mechanism craps out without it and causes compressor stall). i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.
Bullitthead Posted March 6, 2017 Posted March 6, 2017 I just bought the Mig 21 not long ago and I agree with Art-J. I had this same situation when I forgot to turn the inverter switches on.
