In ME triggers I can put my .wave files only on group/factions/all and listen it like they come from radio I don't see how add the sound to a trigger (or object) and listen it from distance, with a volume increase/decrease when you are near/far from the trigger thx
razo+r Posted March 30, 2021 Posted March 30, 2021 Yeah ok, no, it might not be possible the way you want it to be. One way I know of is like you described, via Radio, but that one is broken in multiplayer.
Skanky Posted December 8, 2021 Posted December 8, 2021 Hello. Im new to this ME and im now trying to put in some music for a mission. I want a song to start when i get in cockpit. I have created a music file to ogg format, but when i try to listen/preview to the sound in the ME its no sound. I can see the time goes, but no sound. The song doesnt start when i start the mission either. What do i do wrong?
guitargamery Posted January 11 Posted January 11 i'm a audio engineer/musician that loves DCS, another good way to make the audio files even smaller is to choose a lower bitrate when exporting like 10, will save more 27-30% in space and for dcs comms is perfect because pilots communicate even on a lower bitrate quality VHF/UHF. Im in this forum because im very interesting learning to do proper campaigns for DCS, i already have a lot planed i come from a family of airforce pilots, my father my uncle, friends as well and i was for 12 years a sergeant for the portuguese air force on the F-16 engine maintenance ground crew, so i grew up in this environment and i feel very excited to do something good even worthy of the ED Store, with the F16, F14 and the Vigen, in one year(2026) i will have something ready 1
