SuperKungFu Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Does anyone know how to enable Triple Buffering in the nvidia control panel. I believe it has something to do with Vsync that would give me a better image quality. Everyone seems to be avoiding answering this simple question over at notebookreview, so i hope to get some answer here. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
walternowi Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 This is how I do it with the classic control panel: (I think you have to download and enable the coolbits tool first) Control Panel-> Display Hit the Settings tab Click Advanced Hit the "your video card" tab Select Performance & Quality Settings Scroll down until you see triple buffering By the way, I am using the 92.91 driver. Hope this helps. SuperKungFu Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 Does anyone know how to get the class view like the picture above for newer foreware like 96.98? I can't seem to get that option open, and if i can't see it, i can't turn on the Triple buffering. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
51GRIZZLY Posted November 19, 2006 Posted November 19, 2006 You have to change put "View" options to "Advanced settings"
SuperKungFu Posted November 19, 2006 Author Posted November 19, 2006 yea but the problem is that i can even get into the performance and quality section because the new driver got rid of the classic look (theres not even an option to turn the classic view on), probably because it wasn't vista-like enough. THat's why i cant get into the advance option and turn on triple buffering. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
51GRIZZLY Posted November 25, 2006 Posted November 25, 2006 As far as i know those new Nvidia drivers give you the choice between new and classic look like this.
SuperKungFu Posted November 25, 2006 Author Posted November 25, 2006 which driver are you running? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Prophet_169th Posted November 29, 2006 Posted November 29, 2006 All driver versions I have used that have the new control panel have given me the option to use the classic.
