Oldgold Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 Im building training missions for p-51 When i use condition: UNITS ALTITUDE LOWER THAN lets say 3000 feet, does it mean that condition is true when UNIT is at alt ranging: a) minus infinity to 3000 feet or b) minus infinity to 2999 feet In other words Im asking if the number for the altitude in the condition is means UNITS ALTITUDE <= 3000 or just <3000 (without equal sign) Intel i9-9900k 5.0GHz · Gainward RTX2080Ti 11GB Phoenix GS · AsRock Z390 Taichi Ultimate · Benq 4K 32" PD3200U · Samsung 970 PRO 1TB M.2 PCIe · 2x Seagate ST2000DX002 2TB · 32GB G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200MHz CL14 · SoundBlaster ZX · Windows 10 · HOTAS Warthog · SAITEK Pedals · RIFT S
feefifofum Posted April 7, 2017 Posted April 7, 2017 UNIT'S ALTITUDE LOWER THAN will be up to but not including the designated altitude if memory serves. One thing to keep in mind is that the HIGHER THAN/LOWER THAN triggers as well as the speed triggers are hard coded in metric, even if the rest of your units are imperial. feefifofum Posted April 8, 2017 Posted April 8, 2017 UNIT'S SPEED HIGHER THAN/LOWER THAN will be expressed in km/h ground speed. Depending on how your options are set, your waypoints may be expressed in either km/h or kts, also ground speed. THE GEORGIAN WAR - OFFICIAL F-15C DLC
Oldgold Posted April 12, 2017 Author Posted April 12, 2017 this topic which is reserved for missions and campaigns. Sorry about that. Will do next time. UNIT'S SPEED HIGHER THAN/LOWER THAN will be expressed in km/h ground speed. Depending on how your options are set, your waypoints may be expressed in either km/h or kts, also ground speed. Thanks for your kind assistance feefiforum. I did some mission designing regarding speed limits yesterday. actually now the input is in knots, and its being transferred to the other unit by the editor. I think it's the meters/second - like they wrote in the instruction manual. But I havent checked.
