I am looking for a 22 to 24 inch touch screen monitor for Windows 10 that works nicely with Helios.

A number of touch screens are available for sale by Amazon, Best Buy and NewEgg, but it certainly not clear which ones are compatible with WINDOWS 10.

I have found a clear statement for the ViewSonic TD2430 that it is Win10 compatible. However, most ads do not specify that the monitor works with Win10.

My existing touch screen monitor worked fine in Win7, but Acer has stated that it does not work with Win10 (T232HL).

FROM THE ACER WEB SITE:

Acer T232HL touch functionality does not work with Windows 10

Why is my T232HL touchscreen not working in Windows 10?

The touch functionality of the T232HL will not work in Windows 10. Your monitor will still display an image, however, the touchscreen functionality will not work in Windows 10.

I use it attached to my laptop (old HP, not for DCS) and it works great in Windows 10 Home. Full touchscreen functionality.

From the looks of the display, it might indeed have full functionality.

AFAIK, the big hurdle for some touch screens is the ability to detect a swipe from the edge (as used to close a full screen Win 10 app). My Viewsonic (see sig) has limited functionality since it uses IR sensors in the bezel to detect touches. This means that certain gestures and multitouch functions don't work but it still works well enough in Win 10 for my needs.

Are you telling me that your t232hl works as a touch screen in Win10?

What steps did you go through to do so?

Yes, it works on my (old) laptop that I've updated to Windows 10 Home. The only thing, as mentioned in the manual, have the monitor switched on before you start your Pc. Else it may/may not work.

Because of the laptop I use the VGA connection and the USB cable, required for the "touchmode" is connected to 2.0 port.

The update to Windows 10 was a clean install so no previous drivers installed.

The picture shows the driver info.
