Reflected Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Is there a good tutorial that helps me use the radar when I'm not flying straight and level? The contacts move and swap sides as I roll around, and I'm having a hard time figuring out where they really are in relation to my plane. When I straighten out they usually fade away. note: I understand how to read the radar screen when I'm flying straight with level wings. Thanks in advance! Facebook Instagram YouTube Discord

For me, when I'm making a turn at an angle of 45 ° goals I have in front of the aircraft and the radar is no displayed. When I compare the aircraft targets on radar displays. Probably a mistake radar. The manual does not limit tilting in the horizontal plane only in the vertical. :) <White Tiger> [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Vatikus Posted April 11, 2017 Posted April 11, 2017 Real mig21 has roll stabilisation up to 70deg. I have tried it and I can keep past 45deg ok... The problem I see is that if I roll inverted there is no more clutter as it was before... also clouds do not effect it anymore :/
