No, take a better look at your LO, Su33 are capable of A2G weapon delivery (although simplified than RL Flankers). We can bomb and launch A2G missiles as well.

The way I understand it is that the Su33 inherited its avionics from the Su27 but the A2G capability was never developed because the Su33 is seen strictly as a fleet defender. In LO you can use the Su33 for A2G work but IRL I don't even think the wiring exists to drop a dumb bomb. If that's the case then why would the sim be set up for rocket attacks..? Although I could be wrong and the Su33 is more capable to strike ground targets than I originally thought.

Anyhow, that thing firing rockets in the second video is a Mi-24 :)

The Mi24 rocket attacks happen with in the first 2 minutes of the video but the Su33 fires rockets 4 mins 44secs in. Check out the hud you can see its the same thing we get in LO while flying the Su33/27.

 

Maybe the sim can also be used for Su27 training as well..
