I don't think you will find many mods for Normandy until we see the 2.5 merge at the earliest. Speaking from experience with Nevada here. People are not keen to work on mods for "alpha" products, where there are serious chances that upcoming patches will break your mod or make it redundant.

Im sure we will see great mods for Normandy, and 2.X once it moves to release branch.

Current specs: Windows 10 Home 64bit, i5-9600K @ 3.7 Ghz, 32GB DDR4 RAM, 1TB Samsung EVO 860 M.2 SSD, GAINWARD RTX2060 6GB, Oculus Rift S, MS FFB2 Sidewinder + Warthog Throttle Quadrant, Saitek Pro rudder pedals.

Sorry, I'm not talking about "new" mods. What about the existing sound mods by Diveplane?

The spitfire sounds in Normandy are the same as Vanilla 1.5 (i.e. like a desk fan). We already have replacement files in the form of diveplane & Rlaxox mods.

Can the same mods be used over the engine/ weapon sounds in Normandy too?

Ok I get it. Well there is only one way to try it out. Do you have 2.0 installed? If you can get the mod installed (without JGSME) in DCS World 2.0 (the map used is irrelevant) then it should work in Normandy too.

Sound mods generelly work just fine in 2.0. I have sound mods for all WW2 birds as well as the M-2000 running fine in Nevada- so it is very likely that the will work just as well in Normandy- unless they change the files structure completely- which I find unlikely (but possible off course)
