Right now the INS display updates multiple times per second, maybe even has as many FPS as the game itself. It can easily be seen when displaying distance or time to waypoint, with the numbers changing at a crazy rate.

This is not the case with real units like this, at least not those that I have seen on the videos. First, they had to perform complex calculations using very limited computational power. Second, typical LED displays like that can't refresh more than few times per second.

My guess is that the position and time information presented by INS should update 2-3 times per second. I'm also not sure about showing the data with precision down to 1/100th, that's rather meaningless when the precision of the whole INS system is lower than that, but I don't have the manual of this particular unit.

Hardware: VPForce Rhino, FSSB R3 Ultra, Virpil WarBRD, Hotas Warthog, Winwing F15EX, Slaw Rudder, GVL224 Trio Throttle, Thrustmaster MFDs, Saitek Trim wheel, Trackir 5, Quest Pro

Can I bump it please ? My hardware is not archaic, but I observe a huge stuttering when I turn the INS knob over the sections showing distance to the waypoint and wind . Like the World stops.

Good idea! There are more important issues to be solved but I also have the feeling that the INS screen update rate for the RB M2000 is higher than RL

Regards!

It's the PCN of Mirage F1 CR or CT, but these types use the same SAGEM ULISS 52 INS system.

You can see that the position is indeed 1/100 of minute.

The position is that accurate. But it does drift in time, typically 1 Nm/h for this kind of system, which is good enough for air defense.
