I just noticed today that my TrackIR has a smaller FOV, than if I do not

plug it in and allow LockOn to set the FOV. Have any of you noticed this?

I am currently looking for the method to increase the FOV to the default

value that LockOn uses (wider than TrackIR's default).

The only way I can currently see to set it the same as default is to center myself, then lean forward to zoom-in to where the top of my screen just touches the notch edges of the F15 with the canopy up, and then clicking the centering button again. This way when I lean back into my flight position, the FOV is the same.

If anyone already knows how to fix this so that when I hit the center

button with the trackir engaged that my FOV is out wider like the default

value image shows, please post it for me here.

Thanks

try this

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_27] = {53.0, 87.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_33] = {53.0, 87.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_25] = {51.0, 69.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iSu_39] = {60.0, 80.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29] = {59.0, 81.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iMiG_29K] = {59.0, 81.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iA_10] = {52.0, 68.0}

CameraViewAngleLimits[PlaneIndex.iF_15] = {52.0, 88.0}

and vertical position to 0 in LoCFG if u use TrackIR

the max values like 87,69.... have good reason cuz more causes bugs like

corrupted smoke, loosing visual and blacking out wrong....

the zoom u can center with ur trackir if u want.

just my opionion, oh well if u miss u arcade zoom, dont wonder this is hardcore FOV

I use the slider on my throttle for FOV and have the "zoom" feature of the trakIR disabled.

My DCS wish list: Su25, Su30, Mi24, AH1, F/A-18C, Afghanistan ...and frankly, the flight sim world should stop at 1995.
