Kula66 Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 I tried flying yesterday off Normandy in a 40kt wind but ended up watching the wave motion around a ship and I have to say it is great work! I'm using VR and had to quit when I started feeling a little queazy! This is going to be incredible in the F-18 trying to launch/land off a carrier. My only criticism is that the props weren't turning when they came out of the water (I know, this is a flight sim!) ... amazing. Really enjoying the Alpha, many thanks ED.

AG-51_Razor Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 How high did you have to set the wind to get those kind of waves?? I suspect it was extraordinarily high. I wish that ED would separate the values of wind and sea state in the ME. I agree though, it does look awesome!! And while you're poking around in the Normandy map, place a flight of AI at an airfield with a ramp start and watch them weave their way along a long taxiway as they head out to the runway!! :thumbup: WTFG ED!!!:pilotfly: [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
