Mission Goal Bug

Hi,

 

I encountered a rare problem when creating a mission. Im attaching an example for you to see.

 

50 points are to be given when flag 2 is true. Flag 2 comes true for sure since there is an explosion action when flag 2 becomes true but the points are never given.

 

i suspect its a bug.

WEll I tried the mission and I crash in the ground every time.. I am unsure why you picked it to be in the air cant you make it so the pilot is on the ground or something??

 

 

I don't understand what is supposed to happen?? I just reread your post if I am supposed to get points for crashing where am I supposed to see the points scoreboard??

Your mission is working as it should, you are mis-interpreting how it should work.

Mission Goals / Results = Is more like how much or a percentage of the mission you have completed successfully. (for campaign missions 1-49 you go back a mission, 50 you replay the same mission and 51-100 you have completed the mission and continue on to the next).

 

Mission Score = Points awarded for killing vehicles, aircraft, etc. (These are predetermined and hard coded by ED and awarded for each kill, you can't manually set these anywhere).

 

ie. If you downed 10 aircraft you may get 15 points each for a total of 150 mission points, But the Mission Goal may be set that you only have to take a key flight group of 4 for which you get a Mission Completion Goal of 100.

 

Your Mission Score will never change unless you kill enemy equipment.

 

Mission goals / results and Mission score can be checked in game using the ' key, they will show as Results and score.

Hi, thanks for the replies.

 

No, it is not working as it should. This was already addressed by Grimes in another post.

 

I'm interpreting fine, the bug is related to the scores. Current version does not give points 50% of the time when a flag is true.

im having a hard time making flags work as they worked before
