Range Scale Indicator Increments

On the left side of the HUD in BVR mode, radar on, the range scale indicator shows how far the target is in kilometers. What I'm trying to figure out is what do the bars underneath the numbers indicate? Like how far is it in different ranges like in 100, 50, 25 km?

Ummm...if I understand your question correctly, just divide the range scale number by 5. So with a range scale of 100, each tic mark represents 20 km. With the scale set to 25, each tic mark is 5 km. At 500 km, each is equal to 100, etc.
