Now i saw a good deal for a 8gb 1070 for about 350 usd and i have ordered it in order not to miss this limited opportunity. (normally it is sold about 450-600 usd and even more)

So i didin't have the time that if it worths to change gpu. What are opinions?

1070 is a solid upgrade. Of course it depends in which resolution you are gaming, but you will see improvements in a lot of cases.

By default you should see about 30-50% upgrade in fps at 1080p.

Do, or do not, there is no try.

yeah i play at 1080p. does 2500k 4.3 make bottleneck on dcs world gaming?

are you serious? :) I'm playing at 3.8 with gtx970 and my resolution is like 2560x2640, and see 0 issues. With 4.3/gtx1070 on 1080p you will be a king.

Well, normally I also have no problems but when the plane numbers are increased or during some scenes like big explosions or overcast , some performance problems occur . Nevada is a completely different story , source sucker

I call flat out BS on that one, although I admit it all strictly depends on what one's acceptable level of eyecandy-vs-performance is.

Back to the main topic, I upgraded from 780 to 1070 recently, so a similar situation. Playing at 1200p and aiming at stable 60 fps with default "high" preset. Even my old card maintained that during solo flights in clean weather, but that's not a real indication of anything. As mentioned, the real test is performance with lots of things going on on the screen at the same time.

1.5.6 doesn't utilize modern cards very well, so you won't see a massive performance boost, but minimal fps should raise quite nicely (especially in cloudy conditions and with multiple units around). 8 GB of VRAM also almost eliminates all stutters.

2.1 is unfortunately another story and will require some settings compromises, at least for now until they optimize the damn thing better. But since it requires as much VRAM as you can get, the 1070 will be a welcomed upgrade - If you can get it for a good price, go for it.
