iVVChewy9141VVi Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Good morning i am looking to create a custom button box using the DSD circuit listed below http://www.derekspearedesigns.com/64-button-no-matrix-controller.html What is a good place i can find solder free switches and wiring for this circuit board?
FSFIan Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 (edited) Many toggle switches and push buttons are available with screw terminals. Just search for "screw terminal toggle switch" on eBay and AliExpress, or use the filter functions in the catalog of one of the large electronics distributors such as DigiKey, Farnell and RS Components. For a solderless connection to the board side, you'll need to crimp matching connectors to your wires: EDIT: And here's a comparison of a bad and a good crimping tool: Note: I have never done this myself, as I do all my experiments on breadboards (and in the event I do want to build something permanent, I use my soldering iron instead of investing into a crimping tool). Maybe some other forum members can chime in here with actual practical experience. Edited June 24, 2017 by [FSF]Ian DCS-BIOS | How to export CMSP, RWR, etc. through MonitorSetup.lua
