Will the Rift run on this?

Hi,

Just saw the rift being on sale. Since my major new PC is being postponed indefinitely, i was thinking that perhaps a GFX card upgrade to my current setup might land me into VR territory.

I have a 5 yr old PC.

i7 3770 @3.40Ghz

16GB DDR3 @800Mhz

GTX 680

Would replacing the 680 with say a 1060 or 1070 get me into the minimum specs for VR?

A 1070 might get you passable performance in DCS, though your CPU and ram might pose a bottleneck.

Keep in mind that even people with a 1080ti are having VR performance issues.
