To be honest turbulence would not change much for lockons popularity online but I'll tell ya what would:

1/ removal of player/client feature

2/ Automatic ground and air traffic

3/ mission planning between missions online

4/ start inside the hangar, end mission inside the hangar

5/ improved communications engine with ATC, AI aircraft

6/ dynamic campaign or a fixed large scale map with automatic scripted paths for ground and air units.

7/ radio freq switching for both coms with other players and AI(including automatic teamspeak or ventrillo server)

8/ 6 dof cockpits for everything

9/ dynamic weather with turbulence

10/ multirole aircraft such as F/A-18 or F-16CJ

I think if such features were to feature in a future sim it would be close to the ultimate. Turbulence alone won't change much at all as often most servers in the past never used it. Same goes for bad weather I think 169th server used to often feature bad weather but most other servers did not. BTW as far as my noobness goes I was using flight sims since the ZX81.:music_whistling: . Something like turbulence online is quite insignifcant for a sim if you look at FalconAF which has not yet got it but does feature a type of dynamic weather with clouds, fog and wind.

Nope.. turbulences have a huge importance for SIms on flying experience.

That is because it doesn't exist yet in Lockon.

Most servers on past didn't use any clouds realy because the FPS were soo bad. I know i have servers.. but NNooow!!! it's an other stories.. WE WANT clouds etc.. "Besure"

Fly it like you stole it..

Don't you get it? It's obvious that you're the only one who think so. So for the last time- ok, only offline turbulence is present in LO, but to say that this is the most missing aspect of LO is just plain silly.

"See, to me that's a stupid instrument. It tells what your angle of attack is. If you don't know you shouldn't be flying." - Chuck Yeager, from the back seat of F-15D at age 89.

It seems that you are the one that don't get it. I never said that was the most important thing, there are others for sure but this would be a huge step forward. I hope you get it right this time. And it's good to see that you recognize that there is NO TURBULENCES ONLINE. It is just plain silly to say that turbulences are not important when you want simulate a flight....

Well from the BlackShark_Rotors_Demo video it looks like we're getting gusting wind in LOBS, which I'm happy about, which will actually make flying (landing esp) that much more difficult & realistic, & which I'd rather have than the turbulance as it's modelled in LOFC.

Cheers.

Thats true it won't get more people to buy more copies of Lockon but BS most certainly will.
