As a newish Rift user I have a few questions to you long time VR pilots.

1. Is it possible to speed up the VR zoom funtion?

As is it's very slow both in and out.

2. Is it possible to adjust max zoom in FOV in above VR zoom function as it's possible when flying 2D?

Default it zoom in very close and that adds to the confusion when flying with VR and trying to read the instrument/HUD closely. Would be fine with 2x or 3x zoom in to see labels/instrument clearly.

3. Is it possible to disable the cursor movement when looking around in the cockpit and only have the mouse to move the cursor?

Any help or pointers appreciated!

1. Not currently.

2. Not currently.

3: Yes, mine does not do that. Not completely sure why it does not, but I do have assigned in the UI Layer my mouse click to a button on my HOTAS, this may be why. The cursor only comes on briefly upon the press then disappears. Mouse will continue to do the same as well.

Thanks dburne! Will check UI Layer options.

Glad to help, also check in the VR tab of the settings GUI menu, think there may be a spot in there to check to enable mouse as well .
