Hi,

I have two small 8" monitors with MFDs on them. I export Shkval / Abris and A-10C MFDs. I'd like to add a fourth monitor to export Shkval again or A-10C TGP. Is it possible to export the same device to two monitors?

Thanks.

Hello,

I think you are the trail blazer here. If you are familiar with the lua file for monitor setup, just try copy/pasting the code for the shkval and use the new numbers. I bet it works. Might be a FPS hit.

Yes it is possible. For example, if you export the A-10 MFDs and leave them shown in the cockpit your are doing just that. The cockpit displays are separate viewports, too! Just like use Alt+F1, I think that is right key combo, to show the MFDs without the cockpit.

Yes, it will be an FPS hit. How much depends on your video card.

I was searching for this topic and it is impossible to export the same viewport twice. There are two more post about this.

The internal game logic will only export to one viewport. If you have two listed, it will export to whichever one it finds first. For example, the Shkval will try to export to a viewport named SHKVAL, and if it can't find it, it then searches for LEFT_MFCD.

That's not exporting to two viewports. That's exporting to one viewport while still keeping the in-cockpit render.
