imacken Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 In practical terms, what difference does the res of a head tracking camera make? With the PS3 Eye, for example, I cannot see the difference between running at 640x480 @ 60fps, and 320x240 @ 120fps. Nor do I see the difference with TrackIR at 640x480 @120fps. Rudel_chw Posted August 16, 2017 Posted August 16, 2017 I also cant see a difference between resolutions, but I do find the tracking smoother with higher Hz. So, I run my ps3 at 320x240, 120 Hz. imacken Posted August 16, 2017 Author Posted August 16, 2017 Me too, but TrackIR always boasts about achieivng 120fps @ 640x480, but I can't see what different that makes. Feels and looks the same to me in 320x240 @ 120fps as it does 640x480 @ 120fps.
