Sorry if this has already been asked but I couldn't find any answers in the forum.

 

How do you navigate in the spitfire? There's no handy icon showing your position on the map irl, so how is it done? Does anyone have any tutorials/videos?

either navigate by using landmarks

 

or

 

Use your kneeboard and mark your position on it

 

or

 

use the compass and the clock and a map where you can draw on it and calculate your rough position allthough i doubt it that anyone is doing it this way...

If you want do a more "realistic" navigation - and not just follow "GPS' icons on map or kneeboard - the tips in this video for Bf 109 can be used for Spitfire, since P-8 compass has adjustable Course Setter, similar to one in BG 109 compass.
