hi all, i found a interesting nice file at the aircraft info net.

it seems to be a tape of a air combat between several fighters, maybe from the gulf wars. it is big and take a while to downoad, but it really is worth it.

It is not the question of fun or not, but I noticed that several ppl here were asking for real fighter pilot comms recordings, so I posted it. The recording is about one hour and takes a while to download, but it's worth it ! :thumbup:

Probably died after that 5 months. I'd like to give it a listen, might be worth adding to the game as a quiet background effect in cockpit, for atmosphere seeing as it's an hour in length so would take awhile to loop.

Here's a dumb question: How do you play .wav files? I've tried iTunes, WMP, and VLC, but they all say the file format is wrong or something.

Unless it's a non-standard .wav file or is corrupted it should work. What does the error message say?

 

Could tyr winamp to be sure but VLC pretty much covers most formats and I presume wave.

Windows media player. Typically that link is dead. Ill give you the rundown on the plot-literally. F-16D pilot and WSO call in an abort for his flight as his flight suit smells funny after an upset stomach. "1-1 state emergency." "I just crapped myself."
