TheProphet Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Any retail version?:D If that was done with a single GeForce 3 I wonder what they would be able to do with the upcoming R600 CrossFired! 6700K | ASUS Z170 | 32GB RAM | GTX 680 | 850EVO

Cosmonaut Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 On a GF3!! wow:shocking: Too bad there wont be a retail version it looks like it ticks almost all of the boxes for a flight simmer although i think the boom operator trying to refuel the F15 needs more training :smilewink: . Deadman Posted January 4, 2007 Posted January 4, 2007 Your comparing apples to oranges Lock on is a game with one aircraft with an advanced flight model. The Metavr system is a highly accurate flight simulator built for the government and probably way over prices but a very specific system to simulate the aircraft system. The A-10A in Lock on in its current state has all kinds of inaccuracies from obtainable air speed with and with out pay loads to corner speeds and fuel burn rates. I still think IMHO its still the best representation of the A-10A on the retail market for the home simmer. I have compaired the A-10A in the game to USAF Flight manual TO. 1A-10A-1 and TO1A-10A-1-1 https://forum.dcs.world/topic/133818-deadmans-cockpit-base-plans/#comment-133824 CNCs and Laser engravers are great but they can't do squat with out a precise set of plans.
