Can`t bind the trigger to a shortcut

Hey everybody,

 

I just bought the Viggen, but I can`t give the trigger safety bracket a keyboard shortcut. This is really annoying because I have to click on the stick using the mouse during attack runs. Am I doing something wrong or is this a bug?

Yes, its an unfinished aspect of this plane ... a user made a small Mod that can rectify this and allow you to bind a key to several missing functions of the Viggen, its explained on this thread:

... I confronted that same problem because my HOTA'S software actually simulates a keyboard, so I can only bind keyboard commands to the joystick (unless I ditched my HOTAS software and did the binding trough DCS, which is very basic):

Yes, I use a Saitek x52 and therefore have to use the external profile software which needs keybinds. I hope Heatblur will add these keybinds at some point, it can´t be that hard.
