archer86 Posted February 14, 2021 Posted February 14, 2021 (edited) Texac, thank you for those su-37 skins which remembers me the 2000s. Do you have a mod for make pylons disappear? if it is, also working for su-27? thank you a lot! Edited February 16, 2021 by archer86
Texac Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 I have a mod to remove the pylons, it is the same procedure as with any other modules in the loadout menu in the ME. I will share it later. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •
Texac Posted February 15, 2021 Author Posted February 15, 2021 Here it is, ready for JSGME installation. Otherwise follow the folder path and switch the files. This mod allows you to remove specific pylons in the loadout menu in the Mission Editor, like on the F/A-18C or F-16C. archer86 Posted February 16, 2021 Posted February 16, 2021 (edited) Texac, thanks for your prompt reply. I noticed that the line you added lasty into the pylon sections does the trick: { CLSID = "<CLEAN>", arg_value = 1 }, also I applied the same for su-27, it is working but the pylon tracks still there under wings, how can I make it clean as you did for su-33? thanks Edited February 16, 2021 by archer86

This is not an easy process. You will need to edit RoughMet or Specular and in some cases the Diffuse textures to remove the shade and reflection of the pylons. For the Su-27 template you need to remove the shadows from the occlusion layer. For a quick fix, you can just paint it over with the white color. If you want to edit a specific skin and you don't have that skin template at hand, editing is still possible, but at some point too complicated. I would suggest contacting the skin creator. The Su-27 uses Specular textures instead of RoughMet textures and there is no shade visible, so these don't need to be edited. - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •
archer86 Posted February 18, 2021 Posted February 18, 2021 (edited) Thank you Texac, I 'll try your suggestions but I hope ED will add this option default as they did for Mig-29. Edited February 18, 2021 by archer86
Texac Posted February 19, 2021 Author Posted February 19, 2021 (edited) Here I'm trying to give the engines more detail by using the textures of the "new" Su-34 model and adjust them to fit. Edited February 19, 2021 by Texac - My Skins/Liveries - Improved F-16C Texture Template • Texac on YouTube •
