WytchCrypt
I'm running 1.5.7.9915 and have noticed something bizarre about all the F18-C skins. They all have this odd group of 3 off-color box rectangles that certainly look like they don't belong there. Also, after noticing this in a totally vanilla install with no mods, I put a Blue Angel skin under Bazar/Liveries/f_a-18c and the boxes are still there even though they don't appear in any of the Blue Angel *.dds files. Can anyone tell me why and/or how I can eliminate these 3 box rectangles? I'm planning on buying the F18 when it becomes available and want to fly a Blue Angel skin, but these boxes totally ruin the look of it :( Thanks!!! Buzzles
They very much do belong there :) They're formation lights: (http://archive.defense.gov/dodcmsshare/newsphoto/1998-12/981217-N-0063C-001.jpg) That said, they probably shouldn't be showing in the day. WytchCrypt
Wow, never noticed that before. Guess I learned something new today, Thanks :-) When we get the flyable Hornet, should we be able to toggle them with the external lights? 26-J39
When we get the flyable Hornet, should we be able to toggle them with the external lights? Yes. In DCS F-15 they come on when selecting NAV mode & turn off when switching radar on.
