Single Bomb in RR Mode

In mode RR/NAV and RR/ANF, only a single bomb is released (low drag or high drag loaded).

 

 

Also, I am not sure if this is by design, but there are various differences in weapon safety alt (low selected in mission editor):

RR/NAV, M/71LD: commanded altitude 200m

RR/ANF, M/71LD: commanded altitude 400m

RR/NAV, M/71HD: no commanded altitude (freely settable with reference button), low altitude warning light below 150m

RR/ANF, M/71HD: no commanded altitude (freely settable with reference button), no altitude warning light

 

I get that there is a difference in safety altitude between low drag and high drag bombs. But I don't understand that a reference altitude can be chosen with one bomb loaded and not the other. Also strange that the safety altitude differs between nav- and radar-bombing.

In addition, no bombs drop in Level release (PLAN/ANF) at all. Fälld Last light illuminates but no bombs were dropped.

In CCIP (PLAN w/ HD bombs), I get one bomb release on press of trigger, then all other release when I lift the trigger.

 

Edit: Owh, can it be because I go to ANF, which I shouldn't? -.-'

So, if I do it wrong, is the resulted behaviour still "working as intended"?

Works as intended. Stay in NAV, trigger unsafe will bring up the ring and the dot, then press trigger when targets are between the two.

Altitude MUST be at least 140m in order to avoid the fragmentation zone warning.

 

What I have seen is that the CK37 computer doesn't show the suitable "commanded altitude" for HD bombs with chute of 150m but 0m.

This is understandable to me, because the system does not know that I want to bomb in PLAN / NAV mode, thus it will show the altitude reference for that certain waypoint (if one exist).

 

LD bombs PLAN/ANF/MEDIUM/B1: bombs are released

HD bombs PLAN/ANF/MEDIUM/B1: bombs are released

Ah, I understand. Indeed, I don't have an answer to this particular question.

I personally suggest and prefer to do procedures the correct way, and if then something goes obviously wrong, posting it.

 

If this question is really important to you, and in order to get more attention from readers (because currently it is located within another report), you may create a new thread regarding not following procedures and your observations / outcome. Maybe you will then get it answered by someone ... good luck!
