BigSnow Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 I tried to play instant action missions and even placed a plane in the mission editor, and no matter what it wont put me into the pit. When the mission loads, i hit Fly and it makes the plane meant for the player into an AI controlled plane. Happening on the stable version install that i updated as well as a clean install. Zeus67 Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 If you tried to force the 1.5.8 install into 1.5.7, you won't be able to enter into the aircraft because the AFM and cockpit systems are incompatible. BigSnow Posted November 30, 2017 Author Posted November 30, 2017 I removed the old install that i updated and downloaded the open beta from the digitalcombatsimulator.com download page. the clean install tells me it's version 1.5.8.12162. still getting the same result with the new install.
